Mission Aviation Fellowship refers to Brenda Lange as a "hero of the faith" and says that her work is "profoundly valuable in the lives of these children (in Mozambique)."  She was suffering from malaria and near-death when MAF miraculously intervened to fly her to a hospital.  It's a great story and can be found on Mission Aviation Fellowship's website.
