AMAZING RESULTS: THE HARD FACTS AS OF 2006

Before we came to Mozambique in 1993, an average of six children died per week in our area of 5,000 people. Now, because of Orphans Unlimited, the child mortality rate is only about one child every 3 months.

We provide help to at least 565 orphans in Mozambique.

In Mozambique:

• 72 children receive full care in our boarding school dorms: including all food, medical care, education and clothing. 
• 160 orphans are supported by our foster parent locals in our housing
• 160 mothers and 160 babies rely on our malnutrition program as their primary food source

We have also built at least 30 mud huts on the premises to support our foster parents who are caring for orphans in a family setting.

This is all made possible only through your help.  Together, we can make a difference in the life of one child. For only $30.00 per month, an orphan receives: 3 high protein meals per day, a Christian education, clothing 4 times per year, a new warm blanket annually, and medical care.
