WET AND WILD IS THE NAME OF THE GAME!
Larry Friend, .….”,God’s good and faithful servant.” SIXTY FOUR Men and women from 3 Districts (counties) devoured the Word of God as Larry Friend poured out his heart during our 5 day Bawana Bible Conference. The afternoons rocked with laughter as the adults learned new games by “playing like kids”. The finale was the “Wet and Wild” Water game. They loved this game so much that they ran to the water well to refill their buckets so they could play it a 2nd time! Wet and Wild rules: 1. Line up in 4 equal teams of players. ( see photo above.) 2. First person Soaks a giant sponge in a 5 gallon/20 liter bucket, 3. At the “GO”, the soaked sponge is rapidly passed overhead to each team mate AS THEY SQUEEZE THE WATER OUT OF IT. (see photo above.) 4. The last person must run with the “dry” sponge to the bucket, soak it, then start the same process all over again. 5. Object of the game: BE THE FIRST TEAM TO EMPTY THE BUCKET! 6. Everyone gets “wet and wild” as they have lots of fun. A SINCERE THANKS TO LARRY FRIEND FOR DONATING HIS AWESOME BIBLE KNOWLEDGE SO THAT OUR PASTORS CAN TAKE MORE OF GOD’S WORD TO THOSE THEY SERVE. ELEPHANT VILLAGE YOUTH LEADER FOUND MELUCO DISTRICT BBC MEMBER, JAMIE, a very mature man in the Lord, has volunteered to move his family to Imbada, better known as the Elephant Village. We have many details to work out before he can move to Imbada, but the search for a house has already begun. We still need an assistant for Jamie, as we only send men out “2 by 2” in unreached areas (the same as Jesus did). It has been a very, very busy week hosting our Bible Conference, so please excuse the short letter. I just returned from Pemba, where I dropped Larry at the airport. He is arriving in Atlanta, GA about now, and I pray he had an uneventful 2 day flight. Thanks much for your continued prayers for the Elephant Village. All our children returned to school this week. So it’s back to the books for most of our kids. Back to school means lining up for physical education. Blessings, Bush Bunny Brenda Lange |
