| JUMAIDA IN HOSPITAL Jumaida was taken in last Tuesday for her follow up lab test to make sure all her malaria was gone. The malaria was gone, but the Dr. didn’t like her other lab results. Due to her lack of appetite after completing her malaria treatment, her blood sugar was down, and she just didn’t have much energy. The Dr. decided to admit her for a few days of medications and IV therapy. |

| As of Friday, she is improving slowly. SHE NEEDS THE HEALING TOUCH OF OUR LORD. Jumaida is the true definition of “failure to thrive”. At 2 years of age, she is only 7.5 kg/16.5 lbs. We have tried everything to increase her appetite and help her gain weight, but she isn’t interested in eating much. Please pray for her, as the medical staff have no answers to help improve her present condition beyond what we are already doing. RETURNING TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY—HALLALUJAH! Our 20 school age children received their 2026 school supplies today because MONDAY, March 2, classes begin. Finally, after a month’s delay due to severe flooding in southern Mozambique, all schools nationwide are being allowed to open. The flooding was so severe that the only highway connecting the South to the North of Mozambique was closed for weeks. The children are happy, as they are ready to get back into school activities. |
