PAYING IT FORWARD It is tra­di­tion here for the friends of a per­son who lost a rel­a­tive to vis­it them, giv­ing an offer­ing as well as com­fort­ing words. Many of my friends did just that a few days after the loss of my father. I want­ed to share this beau­ti­ful ges­ture with all of you, for I know my father would have want­ed me to donate his offer­ing to some­one in great need.

After the vis­i­ta­tion, I asked our State Pas­tor, Gito, to locate the poor­est church wid­ow he knew of, and buy her some much-need­ed items. Gito didn’t waste any time, and had sev­er­al gifts bought and deliv­ered to a wid­ow who had very lit­tle in her mud hut.

To those who sent con­do­lences: I THANK YOU from the bot­tom of my heart for your com­fort­ing words. I was over­whelmed by the num­ber of peo­ple who respond­ed. I plan to per­son­al­ly email each of you as I have time to write in the next week or so.

BBC TEAMS WILL BE EXPANDING  Thanks to a very gen­er­ous donor, our Bala­ma BBC motor­bike team will expand once again to 4 motor­bikes with 8 Youth Pas­tors. We cur­rent­ly have only 2 bikes with 6 team mem­bers. The Melu­co District/county BBC bicy­cle team will be restart­ed with new bicy­cles by July. Per­mis­sions must be obtained, new team mem­bers trained and orga­nized, and new bicy­cles trans­port­ed the 7‑hours-dri­ve to their loca­tion. We will also once again request per­mis­sion to train a team in the Namuno Dis­trict that is just south of Bala­ma Dis­trict. These changes will take a few months to orga­nize, but I will keep you informed of the progress.In the mean­while, the Bala­ma teams will con­tin­ue bring­ing 100’s of chil­dren to Christ each month.

We PRAISE THE LORD for this donor who has enabled us to expand. This will bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to 1000’s of addi­tion­al chil­dren in these 3 Dis­tricts (coun­ties).
