JUMAIDA SUFFERS SETBACK Monday this week, Jumaida’s body began to swell in all limbs plus her face. This usually means anemia, but her lab work showed a Hemoglobin of 9.9. The culprit proved to be a mild case of malaria causing a protein deficiency. She was placed on medication, and sent home with orders for a high protein diet of eggs, Hypo cereal, and several vitamins.

We will be giving her the same foods that helped our Ergilsia to overcome her protein deficiency. Lots of prayer power needed, as she is only 7.5 kg at 2 years of age. Jumaida is the only infant we have that refuses to grow, no matter what we feed her.She is very weak now due to the medicine killing her appetite. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER, AS SHE NEEDS A SPECIAL TOUCH FROM JESUS! 2 ANGELS GROWING UP TOGETHER Both of our Angelinas (means Angel), one 6 years old and the other 17 years old, have grown up together in the same home here at our mission. Even though they are NOT blood related, they are closer than any blood related sisters could be.

Doing little Angelina’s hair is one way that the older Angelina shows her love for her little house mate.I took this photo at our CIS luncheon this last Saturday. The hairdo on little Angelina was exceptional, and when I asked who did her hair, she pointed to her older house mate, Angelina.

Our children are so caring for each other, and except for our 2 sets of twins, it is hard to believe they are not blood relatives. The rains continue in earnest, so we have been ditch digging and building water diversion dams to try and control the run off. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO TO HELP US. BLESSINGS, BUSH BUNNY BRENDA LANGE AND THE BALAMA STAFF
