TO ALL OUR ORPHANS UNLIMITED PRAYER PARTNERS:
Please excuse this “NON BLOG”, as I call it, for we are deep into food buying as of today. (Moved 500 sacks or 30 TONS into our barn.)
Dave Deboer’s plane had engine trouble when he left the USA. Result: His luggage was left behind and did not make it to South Africa until a day later. He arrived on June 1st as that was the first flight with a seat available. So we are moving on with corn buying/processing as of today, June 2nd.
Please keep praying for all to go well. It will be an intense 2 weeks!
The photos below show just how busy we are with our 120 man work crew.
100 + sacks stacked at the 2 sacking chutes.
Corn is run through the chute…and prepared for long term storage.
Hand sewing the sacks. Each weighs 60kg (132 lbs).
Each sack is carried into the warehouse and stored until distribution begins in early August.
Bags are stacked in “pillars” that hold 55 tons each.
BLESSINGS IN CHRIST,
BUSH BUNNY BRENDA LANGE
