EMERGENCY FOOD DROPS THIS WEEK
  The ele­phants have been at it again, only in 2 areas of Melu­co coun­ty this time.  Both Imba­da and Revia areas (the most remot areas of Melu­co coun­ty) have had vis­its from these huge beasts.  What har­vest they sal­vaged in May is fast run­ning out, and the kids are hungry.
 
Don Hits­man, along with our truck team, went to Melu­co last Thurs­day with the first load of beans in prepa­ra­tion for duel dis­tri­b­u­tions this week.
  They sprayed and re-sacked 17 of the 25 tons of corn that could be bought in that area, to pro­tect it from bugs.
TWELVE TONS of corn and beans (2 months of food) will be dis­trib­uted on Mon­day and Tues­day this week to 150 orphans using our new 7 ton Nis­san truck.
 
THANKS to all your love gifts, these kids will not go hun­gry this year.
 
GOVERNMENT INSPECTORS COMING TWICE IN NEXT 2 WEEKS
We need your prayers for FAVOR with these groups.
We face 2 gov­ern­ment inspec­tions of our oper­a­tional doc­u­ments and sys­tems, kitchens, office work­ers etc. over the next 2 weeks.  First inspec­tion is this Tues­day.  Sec­ond inspec­tion will be a sur­prise vis­it by nation­al lev­el inspec­tors some­time in the next 14 days.
With many new reg­u­la­tions just put into effect, we are scram­bling to com­ply with all the changes.
These teams are known for being tough.
 
TRACTS GALORE!
 Yes­ter­day,  a team of South Africans who print Chris­t­ian lit­er­a­ture, came to Pem­ba.  Eric was noti­fied to come pick up a  WHOLE PICK-UP LOAD they want­ed to donate to our churches.
We begin dis­tri­b­u­tion today as all our church­es in both coun­ties will receive tracts in Makua.  A few cas­es of much need­ed Por­tuguese Bibles in MODERN Por­tuguese were donat­ed, which will make it much eas­i­er for our less edu­cat­ed read­ers to under­stand.  The Bibles we have are in an old ver­sion of Por­tuguese which is hard for begin­ning read­ers to understand.
 
We are very grate­ful for all that God is doing to help us spread His Word to those hun­gry for the gospel.
It is a plea­sure to serve Him in action and in words.
