REGGIE MAKES SINGING DEBUT! This lit­tle lady is Regi­nal­da, the infant who had the bone TB giv­en to her by her moth­er while she was in utero. For a whole year, Reg­gie under­went treat­ment and did very lit­tle grow­ing. But after she was free of the bone TB, she grew fast and is now 3 years old! She attends our Lit­tle Dis­ci­ples pre-school class­es and loves to sing.

At our CIS Par­ty last week, Reg­gie shocked us all as she timid­ly led one of the songs. Her voice was very soft, but the kids jumped right in and helped her sing it. Reg­gie stands here today, singing, and hap­py because of your Love Gifts that helped us make it hap­pen. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR LOVE WITH REGGIE SO THAT SHE CAN HAVE A FUTURE.

BALAMA DENTIST TEACHES PROPER TOOTH CARE Bal­dazar, the Bala­ma Den­tist, has a mot­to. A HAPPY MOUTH GIVES US A HAPPY LIFE! So true, but few real­ize that your teeth have a lot to do with how healthy your body is. Bal­dazar wield­ed an over­sized tooth­brush with his over­size teeth mod­el, to show the chil­dren exact­ly how brush­ing should be done. It was a very infor­ma­tive and inter­ac­tive 30-minute meet­ing with the chil­dren who were able to attend. Many of the chil­dren were in school at 8 a.m. on Wednes­day, but the moth­ers who attend­ed from each house were tasked with teach­ing the oth­er children.

BUSH BUNNY TIDBITS: 1. Rains con­tin­ue each after­noon, mak­ing it hard on all of us as it leaves behind tons of mud. Our biggest con­cern is for the corn and beans, as both these crops should be dry­ing out dur­ing this time, but the dai­ly rains are mak­ing that impos­si­ble. 2. Jumai­da and Ergilcia con­tin­ue to slow­ly improve after their severe ill­ness­es. Please keep pray­ing for them. 3. BBC (all 3 teams) final­ly got to go out on Thurs­day morn­ing as the mud had dried suf­fi­cient­ly to make it safe to ride a bicy­cle into the bush areas. IN ONE DAY, they min­is­tered to 1,776 chil­dren in 5 vil­lages with 102 receiv­ing Christ as their Lord and Sav­ior!
