INFANTS JUMAIDA AND TINY REGENIA BACK IN HOSPITAL Prayer requested for both these little ones who are again battling malaria. Please note that with Regenia, this was a disease she was born with, and it has now reoccurred as she is limited in what medications she can take due to her being only 1 month old. Once she weighs 5 kg/11 pounds, she can take the medicine that will eradicate the malaria. Her weight: 3.8kg/8.3 pounds. |
4‑week-old Regenia with Foster Mother Mariamo. |
Jumaida is now 8 months old, and her immunity to disease is very low. We are giving her everything she can take at her age to strengthen her blood’s immune response to disease, but it has been an ongoing battle since we received her. Twenty-four hours after admission, I am told that both are responding to the IV malaria treatments, but they must stay a full 7 days to receive 14 doses of the malaria medications. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR THESE 2 LITTLE ONES. |
Jumaida has another bout with malaria. |
BBC TEAMS BACK IN ACTION! The rainy season is almost over, Praise the Lord, so our BBC motorbike and bicycle teams were both mobbed by the village children who were so happy to see them this week! |
BBC MOTORBIKE TEAM teaching children about Jesus. |
Check out the videos, as they show the massive crowds who attended the BBC games and devotions about Jesus. Our BBC Teams are a JESUS MAGNET. It is a wonderful sight to see! |
From devotions to the playing field they go. Crowds were massive this week! |
The sack shuffle. Amazing that all of them kept their balance. |
With 32 infants and 29 school-age children, I am constantly hopping days and even some nights when called out for a sick child. Please keep your prayers going heavenward for this Bush Bunny as well. |
