BUSH BIKERS FOR CHRIST (BBC) DOUBLES IN SIZE TO REACH 1000’S MORE WITH THE GOSPEL The new 8 man, 4 motorbike BBC team now consists of 2 teams of 4 men each. The 2 teams took off into the remote areas of Balama this week, visiting 10 additional villages (20 villages in all). The seasoned Youth Evangelists, Carlitos and Daniel, are the 2 team leaders. |

It was a great surprise to these 10 new remote villages to see this impressive team of men ride in on their motorbikes with games and Bible lessons for the children. KEEP THEM IN PRAYER, as some of the villages are “hard ground”. The way to the people’s hearts is for the children to tell the Bible stories they learn to their family, thus bringing Jesus into their mud huts. |

SCRUMPTIOUS GOODIES FOR OUR CHILDREN May 4th found our children enjoying another tasty, high protein meal from the CIS company that works near Balama. Chicken drumsticks, beef slices, rice with a tasty sauce, chips (French Fries), cabbage salad with a BIG APPLE for dessert was the cuisine this day. It was enjoyed by all, with the apples being a fun challenge for our toddlers, as you can see in one of the photos. |

MOTHER’S TRAINING SEMINAR Once a year, the state level Social Services Department in Pemba sends out 2 men to update the training of our mothers in child care. This 4 day seminar included both classroom and practical household application (house visits to observe the mother’s at work cooking the meals and caring for the children). |
All Primary Foster Mothers in class the first day of seminar. |
Each house was given a thorough visit, with the instructors tasting the lunches prepared at each house. They deemed the food delicious at each home, as our mothers are very good cooks. |
