| CIS PARTY DURING THE RAINY SEASON The children were all present as the CIS Team brought in another delicious lunch for the children. |

| Singing Lift Jesus Higher, Stomp Satan Lower! |
| Samuel, who was once a resident orphan here, and is now the Foster Father for the school age children, led with action songs as the children waited for the lunch to arrive. This every 2 week party is a real treat for all of us as the children experience non-traditional meats (pork and beef), and other foods such as FRENCH FRIES! They love it all, leaving clean plates when all is said and done. The CIS Team’s generosity is a real blessing to our children! |

| ERGILCIA COMES HOME THEN HAS TO GO BACK TO HOSPITAL Ergilcia was on the road to recovery when released. She then started swelling with edema and having diarrhea again just 10 days later, so back to the hospital we went at 4:30pm on Wednesday. Her Hemoglobin (red blood count) was only 7.2, so she needed a second emergency blood transfusion, which was given Wednesday night. She was also started on IV medication for her diarrhea. |
![]() ERGILSIA IN EMERGENCY ROOM ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT WITH HER NEW FOSTER MOTHER, FRANQUINA. |
| SHE NEEDS OUR PRAYERS, as this little girl is very ill. It takes an hour for the best nurses to start an IV on her, as the edema makes her arms and leg veins unacceptable. That is why she has an IV in her scalp. All this started with one case of malaria. What we are seeing now are the after effects of what malaria can do to a body. This is why it kills so many within 30 days after the person has malaria. Thankfully, we have the ability to intervene with blood transfusions, and other treatments to try and prevent her from succumbing to this horrible disease. Please keep her covered in prayer, as this battle is still on going. GRANNY WITH 4 ORPHANS RECEIVES A HELPING HAND This Granny walked 7 miles/14 kms to ask for help for the four orphaned children left in her care. We welcomed them into our food program, and they left with their hands full of rice, beans, soap and salt. |

| Our staff promised to organize clothing for the children and Granny too, upon their next visit. Granny will organize another family member to come in her place, as the long walk was a bit much for all of them.I gave each child a yogurt sucker before they left, and we actually had to show them how to take the paper off the sucker and then eat it. Sadly, the village children have no exposure to many things we take for granted. |

![]() But not the 1 year old. He dug right in when I gave him his sucker! Note: The orphaned children are not required to come weekly. Only the first time, so we can make sure the children on our government documents are truly the age that is stated. November and December is a very busy time for us as the rainy season has begun in earnest. PLEASE KEEP ALL OF US IN PRAYER AS DECEMBER TO APRIL IS THE CYCLONE SEASON FOR THIS AREA. Thanks, and I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving weekend! BLESSINGS, BUSH BUNNY BRENDA LANGE AND THE BALAMA STAFF |
