KIDS GIVING TO KIDS! At last week’s delicious lunch party given by CIS, we were gifted with a box of toys and coloring books from the Twigg Graphite Mine workers. The Twigg employees asked their children to donate toys to our children, making these toys extra special. We are most grateful for the generosity of these employees and their families. Enjoy the photos of our children receiving the toys.

ROOF COMPLETED ON HOUSE #8 We are making progress, as everything is in fast mode with the rainy season approaching in December. The carpenters did a great job of getting this large dorm roof covered with strong tin sheets in just 3 days.

A HAPPY ENDING FOR ESPERANCA (HOPE) On Monday, November 3rd, Esperanca was reunited with her loving grandparents who live here in Balama. This is the little girl who was abandoned in a farming field in July, and rescued by a man living nearby.

For several weeks, no one knew who she was, but then a friend called the grandparents, and told them about how Esperanca’s mother had abandoned her. Turns out that the field where Esperanca was found belonged to the grandfather! Our entire staff are very happy that this child has a safe place to grow up. YOUR LOVE GIFTS AT WORK! Thank you for helping us save lives. BLESSINGS, BUSH BUNNY BRENDA LANGE AND THE BALAMA STAFF
