I’m off to Africa today, and will be OFF LINE till I’m settled in Moz. this Sunday.
Lots of excitement as our new Nsewe B church had its first service and FIRST MIRACLE all in one day.
Here’s the story as Eric wrote it. He’s the Associate Director at the Moz. project and is running the program while I’m gone.
Yesterday at Nseue, B, Alberto was going to have the first church meeting where the people had cleared the land for building their church. They made benches from logs and bamboo, and had the place nice and clean. When Pastor Alberto got there he heard that the village chief wanted to be there when they did the first sermon. He did not show up, so they sent a messenger to his house. The messenger returned saying that the chief is sick in bed with malaria and it is not possible to come.
So Alberto and the whole (new) congregation started to pray for him.
30 Minutes later the village chief showed up at the church!
He told the people that he was lying in bed and all of a sudden felt better and wanted to attend the church meeting.
Everyone there was amazed at the power of God’s healing and they told the other people in the village..
We now have a church in Nseue B.
Note on Tanzanian orphans:
We rented a house and our license is being pushed through.
We hope to have the 30 orphan girls living there within 2 weeks!
Many miracles happened in the process of getting his house, so I’ll blog the WHOLE STORY soon as I have time.
For now, know that GOD IS MOVING in Tanzania on behalf of the estimated 100,000 orphans living on the streets.
Love and Hugs,
BBB hopping off to the airport!
