I’m off to Africa today, and will be OFF LINE till I’m set­tled in Moz. this Sunday.

Lots of excite­ment as our new Nsewe B church had its first ser­vice and FIRST MIRACLE all in one day.
Here’s the sto­ry as Eric wrote it.  He’s the Asso­ciate Direc­tor at the Moz. project and is run­ning the pro­gram while I’m gone.

Yes­ter­day at Nseue, B,  Alber­to was going to have the first church meet­ing where the peo­ple had cleared the land for build­ing their church. They made bench­es from logs and bam­boo, and had the place nice and clean. When Pas­tor Alber­to got there he heard that the vil­lage chief want­ed to be there when they did the first ser­mon. He did not show up,  so they sent a mes­sen­ger to his house. The mes­sen­ger returned say­ing that the chief is sick in bed with malar­ia and it is not pos­si­ble to come.
So Alber­to and the whole (new) con­gre­ga­tion start­ed to pray for him.
30 Min­utes lat­er the vil­lage chief showed up at the church!
He told the peo­ple that he was lying in bed and all of a sud­den felt bet­ter and want­ed to attend the church meeting.
Every­one there was amazed at the pow­er of God’s heal­ing and they told the oth­er peo­ple in the village..
We now have a church in Nseue B.

Note on Tan­zan­ian orphans:
We rent­ed a house and our license is being pushed through.
We hope to have the 30 orphan girls liv­ing there with­in 2 weeks!
Many mir­a­cles hap­pened in the process of get­ting his house, so I’ll blog the WHOLE STORY soon as I have time.
For now, know that GOD IS MOVING in Tan­za­nia on behalf of the esti­mat­ed 100,000 orphans liv­ing on the streets.
