UPDATE ON HOME FOR TODDLERS IN TANZANIA

I’m sit­ting in Atlanta await­ing my plane to Africa, so want­ed to update you on the orphans of Tan­za­nia before I leave the USA.

We have been blessed witha 6 bedroom/6 bath home for the price of a 3 bed­room home!
In the next 10 days, 30 girls, ages 3 to 6 years old will make this their new home.

KIDNAPPING AND SELLING YOUNG GIRLS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM FACING FEMALE ORPHANS in Tanzania.

Our new home for lit­tle girls is owned by the woman who is the Direc­tor of Health for this area.
When she heard we want­ed to rent her house for orphans she was very pleased, and imme­di­ate­ly agreed to cut the rent in half!

This love­ly woman is the one who has to put her stamp of approval on licens­es for all orphan home applications.
Need­less to say, she was so impressed with our goal of sav­ing 30 tod­dlers that she promised to push our license through in 3 days!

With the Direc­tor that day was an Doc­tor who pledged her ser­vices for any med­ical prob­lems the girls may have. PTL for answered prayer!
God opened every door we need­ed to make it pos­si­ble to set up this home for HIS lit­tle girls.

The bunk beds are being deliv­ered this week and the gov­ern­ment is orga­niz­ing the 30 lit­tle ones who will soon be placed into our care.
House moth­ers are being inter­viewed, as 2 moth­ers will be need­ed to watch over these lit­tle ones.

I’m fly­ing out to Africa tonight at 7pm, but want­ed you to know the lat­est before I go.
I will not have easy access to e‑mail the next 2 days as I’ll be work­ing in S. Africa, so please be patient if you write.
Once I’m in Moz. on Sat­ur­day night, I will be back in action on the computer.

Lots of excite­ment as our new Nsewe B church had its first ser­vice and FIRST MIRACLE all in one day.
Here’s the sto­ry as Eric wrote it.  He’s the Asso­ciate Direc­tor at the Moz. project and is run­ning the pro­gram while I’m gone.

Yes­ter­day at Nseue, B,  Alber­to was going to have the first church meet­ing where the peo­ple had cleared the land for build­ing their church. They made bench­es from logs and bam­boo, and had the place nice and clean. When Pas­tor Alber­to got there he heard that the vil­lage chief want­ed to be there when they did the first ser­mon. He did not show up,  so they sent a mes­sen­ger to his house. The mes­sen­ger returned say­ing that the chief is sick in bed with malar­ia and it is not pos­si­ble to come.
So Alber­to and the whole (new) con­gre­ga­tion start­ed to pray for him.
30 Min­utes lat­er the vil­lage chief showed up at the church!
He told the peo­ple that he was lying in bed and all of a sud­den felt bet­ter and want­ed to attend the church meeting.
Every­one there was amazed at the pow­er of God’s heal­ing and they told the oth­er peo­ple in the village..
We now have a church in Nseue B.

Note on Tan­zan­ian orphans:
We rent­ed a house and our license is being pushed through.
We hope to have the 30 orphan girls liv­ing there with­in 2 weeks!
Many mir­a­cles hap­pened in the process of get­ting his house, so I’ll blog the WHOLE STORY soon as I have time.
For now, know that GOD IS MOVING in Tan­za­nia on behalf of the esti­mat­ed 100,000 orphans liv­ing on the streets.
