Old­er sis­ter, an orphan her­self, is car­ing for her four sib­lings in the Kwe Kwe area.

August is always the first food dis­tri­b­u­tions to the orphans liv­ing in a remote vil­lages with their Grand­moth­er or Aunt in Bala­ma District.

Since Tues­day (8–8‑17), our trucks have been rolling hard to the far ends of Bala­ma Dis­trict (coun­ty) dis­trib­ut­ing food to 989 vil­lage orphans and the 502 wid­ows in 4 days.  It’s a tough job, but our staff enjoy see­ing how much the chil­dren have grown since last year.

Pas­tor Gito, hand­ing out soap and salt in his Pas­toral area of Impire. Pas­tor Gito serves 4 remote vil­lages with The Word of God each week. The chil­dren are all doing well and most enjoy the BAWANA games brought to them by the Pas­tor liv­ing in their area.

Staff mem­ber car­ries the 60 kg (132 lb.) bag of corn out of the dis­tri­b­u­tion area for this young Aunt who cares for 3 orphans plus her own baby.

Our staff’s mot­to is:  Serv­ing spir­i­tu­al food along with phys­i­cal food, makes for a well bal­anced diet, giv­ing every child a chance at life here and in the hereafter.
