| FROM “BUSH BUNNY BRENDA“ DATE: MARCH 26, 2022 GRANNY WITH 4 ORPHANS LOSES ALL Praise the Lord that this Granny realized their mud house was about to collapse, and got everyone out just in time! What you see in the background of the 1st photo is what remains of the roof. All mud brick walls were completely dissolved in the heavy rainstorm.  Granny with 4 orphaned grandchildren lost her home and most of what they owned in a heavy downpour. What’s left of their mud hut is behind them. The GREAT NEWS is that Sylvai (Sil-vi), our orphans manager in Meluco District/County where this happened, was able to find a mud hut for sale in the same village! For $500, he purchased a like new “pao peeky” home. Pao peeky can’t easily be destroyed since it is made from small tree trunks laced together with bamboo and plastered with clay. The walls are solid, giving Granny and her 4 orphaned grandchildren a safe place that’s so much nicer than where they lived.  Granny with 4 Orphans receive new home and all the “fixings”, thanks to your love gifts. Your love gifts fully outfitted them with all they need to start over. Most all they had was crushed under the massive weight of the collapsing mud walls. YOUR JESUS HEART FOR THESE ORPHANS IS MUCH APPRECIATED! THANK YOU from all of us in Balama and Meluco counties. ABANDONED AND LEFT TO DIE DOMINGAS, now 14 and in the 8th grade had a rough start in life. Born with a twin brother, the mother rejected this baby girl, and gave all the baby food to her brother.  Domingas, now in 6th grade, working in a widow’s field to remove weeds. The mother left Domingas to die on the veranda of the widow’s home we had loaned her, and went to live in another village. Madelina, a legally blind church leader at our mission, heard her cries and rescued her! Domingas has lived happily in the Gazelle house her entire life. She has a great future ahead as she just entered high school. JESUS SAVES THE LOST is true in many different ways. NATIONAL WOMEN’S LEADERS VISIT OUR 2 BABY HOUSES. It was a wonderful hour of encouragement for our mothers caring for our infants, as these women KNOW how much work it is to raise a newborn infant.  Visitors from the local women’s group give encouragement to our mothers caring for infants. We are very grateful for those who “drop by” to lift up our caregivers!
