90 DAY WONDER!Gerelcia came to us on December 4th, 2024, at 7 months of age. She was recovering from a 7 day stay with malaria at the Balama hospital, weighing only3.7kg/8 lbs. HECTIC WEEK BUT WE MARCHING ON With heavy rains, our children have had a challenge getting settled in school. This week also kicked off the organized study time with a tutor to assist the students with their Portuguese and Math. BACK TO SCHOOL FOR VILLAGE ORPHANS Baby Ambrosio, who lives with us, has 5 brothers and sisters being cared for by their Aunt (far left in photo below). The Aunt is barely an adult, but 3 years ago she and her husband took on the challenge of raising these 5 orphans with the help of our food and school assistance programs.
