BABY ESTALESIA FINALLY BECOMES A TODDLER! Estale­sia, has bro­ken all the bar­ri­ers in order to sur­vive her rough start in life. Few med­ical peo­ple thought she would live, as her mul­ti­ple ill­ness­es and enlarged abdomen made it hard for her to breath unless held upright. I made her a wedge pil­low that kept her sleep­ing in a slight­ly upright posi­tion, mak­ing it eas­i­er for her to breath. This was need­ed for sev­er­al months until her abdomen began to decrease in size. A large abdomen is one side-effect of severe mal­nu­tri­tion. This is nor­mal in all mal­nour­ished chil­dren, but when it hits an infant, it can be very dif­fi­cult to deal with. BUT ALL THAT IS BEHIND HER NOW! PTL!  After weeks of try­ing to bal­ance and walk, Estale­sia is final­ly tak­ing mul­ti­ple steps with­out los­ing her bal­ance. This is a BIG accom­plish­ment for her.

So PTL with us that she will con­tin­ue to grow and become the beau­ti­ful lit­tle girl the Lord means for her to be. Cel­e­brate with her as she laughs her way through her tum­bles and bot­tom splats! For cer­tain, she is not a quit­ter! BBC TEAMS ARE JESUS MAGNETS! As you can see from the pho­tos, the chil­dren are the “good ground” that Jesus talks about in the Gospels.
