ERGILCIA NEEDS AN IMMEDIATE MIRACLE  Ergilcia’s ane­mia con­tin­ues after the malar­ia she suf­fered 2 months ago. Even with a high pro­tein diet, iron sup­ple­ments, and max­i­mum folic acid for her age over the last 30 days, her hemo­glo­bin count was only 7.6 yes­ter­day. Nor­mal is 12 to 14. Below 8 is crit­i­cal, but no one wants to trans­fuse her again with blood, since it will be her 3rd trans­fu­sion. This great­ly risks a severe reac­tion. The Doc­tor told us to con­tin­ue all diet pro­to­cols for 7 more days, but to increase the Iron and Folic Acid sup­ple­ments to a child’s lev­el since she is just days away from being 2 years old. As of Jan­u­ary 10th, Ergilcia is in the 3rd day of treat­ment. Ergilcia URGENTLY needs prayer for a mir­a­cle to cor­rect her ane­mia, or in the nat­ur­al, we could lose her.

JUMAIDA IS A WALKING MIRACLE! Jumai­da, born June 20, 2023, is now 2.5 years old. Her growth is very slow, as she only weighs 19 lbs. BUT SHE IS NOW WALKING WITH HELP! This is a mir­a­cle in itself, as no one thought she would ever crawl or stand, but the pho­to is liv­ing proof of her progress. I am hop­ing the exer­cise will increase her strength and help her to gain weight.

To say I was excit­ed when I took this pho­to is an under­state­ment! She is with our best moth­er in the Zebra House, and has done well under her care (no ill­ness­es), but even with a great diet, her body refus­es to gain weight. The lit­tle 3‑wheel cart she is stand­ing with is what the locals build to help a child learn to bal­ance and walk.  GOD IS DOING A WORK IN HER, so keep those prayers com­ing.
