GIVING A HAND UP TO THE VILLAGE ORPHANS This week we com­plet­ed the September/October give outs of rice, beans, soap, and salt to the orphaned chil­dren and their care­tak­ers (either Grannies or Aunts). The pho­tos tell it all, as the chil­dren came in droves to receive their food allot­ment. Thanks to your love gifts, this pro­gram is possible.

Each fam­i­ly gets 1 piece of soap per fam­i­ly mem­ber. These kids hang onto that soap with all their might.

‘Being with GOD is safe­ty. He gives us food and rain.’ That’s what they are singing.

This fam­i­ly shows all that we give them. Sack of rice, beans, salt, and soap.

Devo­tions are held before each give out. Many of the women and chil­dren have received Christ through this program.

HAPPY BABY FACES This week I caught can­did shots of baby Gil­da (girl), and baby Amoral­do (boy) at the Leop­ard House (#7) where our youngest babies live with their Fos­ter Moth­ers. Their lit­tle faces were so cute, I thought you would enjoy see­ing them.

The one pho­to show­ing the Fos­ter Moth­er car­ry­ing dia­per pack­ets reveals that pay­day (Sept. 30th) is dia­per day! She is car­ry­ing dia­pers for 3 moth­ers. Our babies only use dis­pos­able dia­pers at night to pre­vent acci­dents. Dur­ing the day, they are in cot­ton dia­pers that the Fos­ter Moth­ers wash. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING US TO KEEP SMILES ON THE FACES OF MANY CHILDREN.
