HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR TWINS!
Cre­cen­cia (girl) and Cre­cen­cio (boy) turned 2 years old on Jan­u­ary 11! They are so very hap­py liv­ing with us, for they were shuf­fled to 3 dif­fer­ent sub­sti­tute moth­ers in the vil­lage before com­ing to live with our hap­py fam­i­ly. Their pic­ture here says it all, as they are now healthy, STRONG, and grow­ing fast.
We are so, so proud of their progress, as it was hard-going with the lit­tle boy, Cre­cen­cio. He had mul­ti­ple set­backs and was very small com­pared to his sis­ter when they came to live with us. He was too weak to walk, and had mul­ti­ple dis­eases that need­ed hos­pi­tal­iza­tion to erad­i­cate.
Now he runs like the wind, and plays for hours to his heart’s delight. I even caught him DANCING with 2 of the oth­er tod­dlers this week. Sor­ry, no video, as I was too far away to cap­ture their joy­ful fun!

Life and death are in the pow­er of our words, and we spoke noth­ing but LIFE to Crecencio’s lit­tle body for months! Thank you for your prayers, for God heard and answered them by giv­ing us these 2 super healthy lit­tle ones.

TODDLER HOUSE CONSTRUCTION SHOULD BE COMPLETED NEXT WEEK
I was begin­ning to think we would nev­er get this home fin­ished, as the 2 weeks of paint­ing delays forced all 3 of the con­struc­tion teams to have a delay in fin­ish­ing their final work. But our painter final­ly fin­ished his job this week with the help of 3 of our staff. Manuel, Mario, and Car­l­i­tos all chipped in to speed up the out­door paint­ing needs at the 4 bath­rooms, plus the eat­ing and play areas.
The bath­room toi­lets are now in, and the elec­tric lights are installed in the bed­room.

All that is left is mount­ing the 8 doors — 3 exter­nal and 2 inte­ri­or doors, plus 3 screen doors to keep the bugs out. Hop­ing for a quick inspec­tion so we can open the home as soon as pos­si­ble.

With 29 lit­tle ones from 8 weeks to 3 years, none of us suf­fer from dull moments, and total­ly enjoy the peace and qui­et when they are all asleep!
