FROM “BUSH BUNNY BRENDA“ DATE: JANUARY 6, 2024 OFF TO A FAST START With all the holiday fun spilling over into this first week of January, I will share 3 candid shots I managed of our ever-growing family. Left to right: Franciano, Ancha, and Suzy playing with their new toys. Suzy couldn’t wait to strap her new baby doll to her back! Juma caused a major traffic jam at his house. Here it is whoever is bigger has the right away, so Juma thought he would see if he could bull doze the smaller cars out of the way. Baby Estalesia, 8 months old, thinks her new squeaky toys tasted delicious! Foster Mother Julieta is holding her. FRESH VEGGIES FROM SOUTH AFRICA—YUMMY! Fresh oranges (a first time treat for the little ones), and loads of Butternut squash were received from a donor in the state of Missouri, USA. GOD never fails to surprise us with how HE provides our needs. Veggies are very scarce at the Balama market during the rainy season. But thanks to friends 30 miles away with a fresh veggie business based out of South Africa, our kids will be blessed throughout the rainy season with veggies and fruit. AMAZING AND TASTY FOR SURE! NEW FAMILIES KEEPING FLOWING IN WITH ORPHANED BABIES On December 26, my staff and I tried to brighten the lives of these 5 newly orphaned children with gifts of food and new cooking pans. Sadly, this is only 1 of 4 families who lost a loved one in our area between Christmas and New Years Day. SIXTEEN CHILDREN were orphaned that week, leaving Grannies and Aunties needing the bare basics in order to assist these little ones. YOUR LOVE GIFTS DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! KNOW THAT ALL OF US SEND OUR DEEPEST GRATITUDE TO ALL OF YOU FOR HELPING US TO HELP OTHERS. MAY 2024 BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WITH YOUR NEEDS!
