This picture of The Bush Bunny is from our files.
It hit 32F, (0 C) each night for my 1st weekend. Had to buy thermals, as Bush Bunnies are not equipped with snow suits.
Analysis on gall bladder proved it was doing great! So where is this pain coming from? CT scan showed colon problems, and sure enough, colonoscope revealed an infection throughout the colon. Am on antibiotics and recovering nicely.
Will get final treatment instructions this coming Thursday when biopsies results revealed.
I praise the Lord surgery is not needed for any of this!
All is well in Balama. Capena keeps me informed daily by Txt and phone when needed.
The new churches/Bush Bible Schools in Namuno are growing, along with our Awana Children’s programs in 3 Districts.
Some Awan groups are up to 300+ in attendance each Saturday! Adults are joining in!
Awana photo from blog files.
God’s Word is going forth with great speed, for in these last days, there is no time for sitting around “burning daylight”.
This week is Maintenance Week for me. Tee Hee.
A much needed haircut after a wild Mozambican with electric clippers cut my hair 2 months ago, dentist, and of course the all essential SHOPPING. Airline limitations make it hard, but I will squeeze 20 kgs (40 lbs) of Hypo malnutrition cereal, and “good to have medications” into my 2 luggage bags before leaving on Aug. 17th.
OURBEHINDTHESCENETEAMFORSOUTHAFRICA!
Could not do all this without their help!
Eric Dry is looking great, and is an essential part of our team in South Africa. He shops for us, and delivered the Hypo our babies so depend on for great health. He also got me this tablet and connected it to WIFI, so I could write you.
I am being hosted in the home of my great friend, Elzabe Barnard. She has transported me to all these tests and been by my side through it all this week. Helping people get things done is her calling, and a vital one it is!
So keep them in prayer, and me too, as I prepare to wrap up this trip in the next 7 days.
Love and hugs to all,
Bush Bunny Brenda Lange, freezing while most of you sweat out the hot summer in the USA.
