| BABY VICTORIA NOW HOME AFTER 7 DAYS IN HOSPITAL! Baby girl Victoria overcame the diarrhea that almost ended her life, and now weighs 3.4 kg/7.5 lbs. This is AMAZING as most infants don’t bounce back as fast after such a severe illness. Released on Wednesday this week, she is now being kept in isolation until she reaches 5kg/11 lbs. to prevent her from catching any respiratory illnesses that are floating around. THANK YOU for your prayers for this little one. |

| Victoria never suckled her mother’s milk, so she didn’t receive the immune building colostrum that is so essential for any newborn. I will keep you posted on her progress as she has already shown us how well she can eat and gain weight in the one week she was in the hospital. It is amazing to see how the healing power of the Lord Jesus, along with good food and loving care by one of our best foster mothers, can make a difference in an infant’s life. It takes a village, so keep your prayers coming for Victoria to grow strong in the coming weeks. PREPARING LAND FOR A NEW TODDLERS’ DORM Thanks to several donations we are now able to start the badly needed toddlers’ dorm next door to our present construction for the school age children. With over 20 preschoolers, and 13 two-year-old children growing up fast, these 2 large dorm rooms are needed as soon as possible. Dorm plans are for 2 large rooms measuring 6m wide x 17 m long (19.5 ft. wide X 55.25 ft. long). We are bursting at the seams, but always manage to squeeze in 1 more baby in an emergency. However, that is getting harder to do. With phase 1 of the new school age complex 90% completed, it is time to prepare the land next door for the new toddler dorm. |
![]() Our 5 man team cutting down the scrub tree so our new toddler dorm can be built. |
| Cutting down a large scrub tree that was in our way was the first step. Cutting the tree was the easy part, but it took 2 days to get the estimated 250/550 lb. stump out of the ground. Remember, we have no chainsaws, so it was all done with 5 strong men, an axe and a few machetes (pangas). I will keep you updated as we progress. |

| Estimated 500 lb. trunk. Took all our guys to move it out of the hole. |
| Our priority is to complete phase 1 for the school age children at the same time we start digging the foundation for phase 2, the toddler’s dorm. Keep us in your prayers, as we push ahead at full speed to bring this dorm into service as soon as possible. The goal is for early 2027, depending on El Nino and the normal rainy season construction delays.
