GOING THE EXTRA MILE Storing 150+ TONS of corn in 5 days is quite a feat for 98 men! Having 1,300 of 2,500 sacks (132 lbs each/60kg) already in the barn from last week is the ONLY reason we could do it so quickly. As you can imagine, this program consumed all our time this week. Bales of 1000 sacks each are distributed to Pastors. A bale weighs over 100kgs (220 lbs.)

DAVE’S BALLOON PARTY Since Dave didn’t arrive in time for the June 1st children’s party, he treated the Sunday School children to a balloon party last weekend. They had a blast, and there were a few “popped balloons” before it was all over. I am most grateful for Dave’s visit, and the children love him for sure! NATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY: A HUGE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR BALAMA’S ORPHANS OVER 150 orphans and street children enjoyed a day of soccer, jump rope, and other games on June 1st.
