TWO INFANTS JOIN OUR MILK FORMULA PROGRAM THIS WEEK  On the 17th, infant boy EDMIRO, just 12 days old, lost his mother from post partem complications. His family lives 27km/13 miles from our base. His loving grandmother will care for him.

2‑day-old Edmiro receives a full tummy of milk.

On the 19th, baby girl Neima (Nee-i-mah), born June 1st, was sent to our mission by Social Services. Her Mom became too ill to nurse and was admitted into the Balama Hospital. Neima will be cared for by her aunt while her Mom receives treatment.

Baby girl Neima enjoys her first bottle.

YOUR LOVE GIFTS AT WORK, FOR THESE TINY TOTS WOULD NOT SURVIVE WITHOUT INFANT FORMULA.   CARROT MAN MAKES HIS WEEKLY VISIT It is harvest-time, which means the gardens of the local farmers are ready for market. For just pennies a carrot, our children receive nutritious, freshly harvested carrots each week for as long as they last.

Carrot man, far left, helps our staff with counting the carrots he brought for our children.

Your Love Gifts buy 180 carrots/week which are distributed immediately to our children’s homes. The children love crunching on these tender tidbits, and we send our thanks to all of you for making this gift possible.Until next week! BLESSINGS,  BUSH BUNNY BRENDA LANGE  AND THE BALAMA STAFF
