DINO IS WITH JESUS Baby Dino, our tiny 7‑month-old little boy with a heart anomaly, had to be readmitted to the hospital on Tuesday this week in severe respiratory distress.Sadly, the medications and oxygen didn’t work this time, and his little heart just stopped just after midnight on Saturday. He was laid to rest in his home village today by his family.
THANK YOU for all your prayers for this little one. We gave him the best care available, and we know he lived a good life for the short time he was with us. He has now received a new body, and is playing in heaven as all little ones should. TOYS FOR TOTS! Our “toy man” walked in last Thursday with 2 large bags of toys and balls for our children. This man, who didn’t want his photo taken, buys toys in a far-off city, then brings them to the small towns that never receive toys to sell. We asked him the last time he came to please stop by our mission first when coming to our town, as toys are basically non-existent in our market stores. Balls, hero action figures, stuffed animals, and many baby rattles were among the items he brought this trip. We took them first to the Lion House where the 2‑to-4-year-olds went wild! We had them sit down to calm them a bit, so they each could receive their toy along with a ball.
All our children under 5 received toys as well in the other houses. Praise the Lord for men like our toy man who works hard to find the type toys our children like. The children eagerly wait for his next trip to Balama.
Your Love Gifts are making our work exceptional as we reach out to help orphaned children in the villages with food to keep them healthy.More on that next week. BLESSINGS, BUSH BUNNY BRENDA LANGE AND THE BALAMA STAFF
