SYRAH/TWIGG GRAPHITE MINE EMPLOYEES BLESS OUR ORPHANS
At 5 a.m. Friday, our staff was busy moving tables and organizing 10 boxes of donated school supplies for our family of children. Everything from uniforms, note books, to rulers and pencil sharpeners were laid out for distribution, for the new school year starts on Monday, Feb. 5th.

Amelia and Sylimane, Twigg’s designated “elves” came to help, and all 87 orphans were happily showing off their gifts 2 hours later. MANY THANKS TO ALL THE SYRAH/TWIGG EMPLOYEES for their overwhelming generosity to our orphans. Our happy children now each have a new backpack full of much needed supplies to help them do their best during this school year.

FLOORS AND DOORS MOUNTED IN NEWEST DORM COMPLEX
The rains returned to “normal” this week, allowing us full work days (PTL) for our BBC evangelistic teams and our construction crews.
Brick layers smoothing the concrete floors
After 2 days of sunshine and only light rains, the ground was amazingly dry, so the tractor team went to work carrying our stockpiled sand to the new dorm site. We watched this in amazement, for it has never been dry enough to use the tractor on Feb. 1st! (peak of the rainy season). For that we thank the Lord and the sandy loam ground that dries quickly!
Tractor piling on the sand so the teams can work
Thanks to more sand, the 3 dorm rooms now have concrete floors, and all 7 door frames have been mounted. Our goal is to have this orphan complex completed in March if the rains allow it.

BLESSINGS AND MUCH THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR HELPING TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE.
