30TH INFANT RECEIVED On January 18th, the malnutrition Dr. requested that we take in a 1 year old orphaned boy, Dionesio, 6kg/13.2 lbs. who was under the care of his mentally challenged Aunt.Dionesio was obviously very sick, and a lab test showed severe malaria with a Hemoglobin of only 5. That is death’s door for anyone since normal is 10 to 12.A transfusion that afternoon saved his life, and he is now home with us after a 7‑day malaria treatment.PRAY for this little boy, as he has months of recovery ahead of him. |
Baby #30, Dionesio, looking much better after his transfusion. BUSH BUNNY UPDATE After a week of doctors, physiotherapy, and a great chiropractor, de Bunny is on the mend!
