BLANKETS FOR BALAMA KIDS

A very mis­sions mind­ed preschool class in Ohio raised funds this week so that our orphans can keep warm dur­ing the 2024 cool sea­son. From late April until the mid­dle of August, our night tem­per­a­tures can drop to 50°F/13°C. That’s a bit nip­py for any­one with­out a blanket.

The preschool chil­dren’s goal was for 100 Blan­kets. Between the time they noti­fied us of their quest and the time we pub­lished this blog, THEY MET THEIR GOAL! Quite a goal for such a small group, but they have a great teacher who moti­vates them to help others.

They did it! Just over $500 raised. We will receive the dona­tion in the next cou­ple of days.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO GAVE TO THIS MUCH NEEDED PROJECT!

All 60 of our chil­dren are doing well. Been hit hard by heavy rains this week, mak­ing out­door activ­i­ties a bit difficult.
