SOULS FOR JESUS IN 2018
WITH A GRATEFUL HEART WE SEND OUR THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO SUPPORTED OUR BBC TEAMS IN PRAYER AND GIFTS. YOUR LOVE GIFTS PLANTED 1000’S OF JESUS SEEDS, and they reaped a huge harvest of souls!
The 18 Youth Leaders plus the 13 Pastors working in remote villages (3 counties), made it possible to bring God’s Word to over 21,000 CHILDREN EACH WEEK. These dedicated men ministered to over 23,313 people in 2018 with 18,600 (children and adults) coming to Jesus.
BBC reaping the harvest.
We can CONFIRM 21 healings with prayer as their only treatment.
The children are the future church, and the “good ground” that Jesus talks about in the “Parable of the Sower”.
A story from years past explains it very well. When asked, an Evangelist stated that he had 2 ½ people saved in his meetings the day before. The Pastor stated, “Oh, you mean 2 adults and 1 child.” “NO,” replied the Evangelist. “I mean 2 children and 1 adult! The children have their whole lives ahead of them while the adult’s life is half over.”
Think about it, and you will understand why “saving the children” is so very important to Jesus.
ZITO UPDATE. HE’S LOOKING BETTER!
We are finally making head way against the powerful Staphylococcus/Pseudomonas infections that Zito has in his blood.
These types in combo are so tough that I use to say you could beat it with a stick and it still would not die! The correct IV med was finally located that would counter these 2 nasty bacteria.
Zito is feeling “Jawsome” with new meds and exams over.
This week Zito completed the last of 6 exams for the 5th grade and the results should be posted by next week. In the meantime, he continues to stay with us in Balama while receiving his twice daily treatments and dressing changes.
SCHOOL IS OUT SO…IT’S MACHAMBA TIME!
“Machamba” is Makua for a “farming field”. The high school “dorm boys” cleared their field, and are off to visit family until planting time in December. Planting time is when the rains come regular enough to support the newly growing plants.
Teens clearing their “machamba” for planting
There is nothing more frustrating than planting too early, and then have it all die because there is no rain for 2–3 weeks. In Moz., everyone must plant a field, or they will not eat!

MORE MORINGA TREES PLANTED
Moringa is a very nutritious plant, high in protein and vitamins, that I love to eat raw in salads. The children love it cooked in the sauces they eat with their corn or rice. Seems we never have enough of it as our family keeps growing. At the moment, 97 children are living in our 23 foster homes. (30 of these orphans are under 6 years, so you understand what I mean about never having enough.) Lots of growing little ones.
More Maringa trees for a bigger harvest.
Eating Moringa helps keep our children healthy during the rainy season when other greens are not available.
2 year old Moringa tree harvested 2 months ago. It grows back quickly.
BLESSINGS, AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
