TWO NEW BABIES RECEIVED THIS WEEK An Uncle and a Granny, both from remote villages, brought in 2 very malnourished orphaned infants to our milk program on Thursday. Baby boy, Nedo, is 4 months old, while the 2nd boy, Bonito, is 7 months old and they both weighed exactly the same, 3.3kg / 7.2 pounds! Very bad indeed! I rushed them both to the hospital, where they were examined

FROM: Bush Bunny Brenda DATE: March 9, 2024 BLANKETS FOR BALAMA KIDS A very missions minded preschool class in Ohio raised funds this week so that our orphans can keep warm during the 2024 cool season. From late April until the middle of August, our night temperatures can drop to 50°F/13°C. That’s a bit nippy for anyone without a blanket. Enthusiastic pre-schoolers know how to give
REGINIA To be born with malaria is beyond belief, but baby Reginia is an overcomer. At 1 week of age, she is now home with us in the new Toddler House with our best mother, Mariamo. Reginia needs to be kept in isolation to prevent further illnesses, and the Toddler House can provide that since the little girl’s room is empty at the moment. Baby Regenia with
JUMAIDA IS HOME! Thank you so much for all your prayers! Jumaida was suddenly declared well, and released 1 day after you began to pray! What a miracle! Her appetite is back and she seems fine, just needs to eat to gain weight. A Zinc liquid supplement with other baby vitamins will soon strengthen her immunity level, giving her the resistance she needs to avoid infections. We are very
FROM: Bush Bunny BrendaDATE: February 17, 2024 IN MEMORY OF MADELINA On Saturday night, Feb. 10th at 8:30pm, my phone rang. Never a good sign. I raced down there, took one look at the infant,

MADELINA STRUGGLING IN HOSPITAL Baby Madelina, 12 months, was admitted to the hospital last week for hidden malaria. An allergic reaction to the medications caused her abdomen and underarm skin to sluff off, looking like she had suffered 2nd degree burns. With a change in medications, this is now slowly healing. Please pray for her complete and rapid healing, as she has been through a lot since becoming ill. Baby Madelina with
