Bush Bun­ny Bren­da Blog August 3, 2024 BBC DRAWING BIG CROWDS IN VILLAGES This month, our BBC teams had to help with food buy­ing for the first 2 weeks of the July. After that, it was time to move out and take the gospel to the vil­lage children.

July’s num­bers are still impres­sive for 2 weeks of work. Chil­dren min­is­tered to by both motor­bike and bicy­cle teams: 13,811 Sal­va­tions in July: 1,599 chil­dren Don’t you know that heav­en is shak­ing with all the danc­ing going on up there because of the new sal­va­tions! The pho­tos show the large crowds of chil­dren as they gath­er around to hear that day’s Bible story.

WHAT CAME IN, MUST NOW GO OUT! After bring­ing in over 1,000 sacks of corn and 4,800 sacks of rice in the first 2 weeks of July, our team’s work was just begin­ning. Cape­na, our office man­ag­er and head of vil­lage food dis­tri­b­u­tion, chose the 10-man team who would accom­pa­ny him on the trucks.  Cape­na and his team left on Fri­day, August 2nd at 4 a.m. with both our 6- and 7‑ton trucks full of corn and beans. This dis­tri­b­u­tion was giv­en out to orphans in 7 vil­lages in the Mavala area (Man­go Tree Church). Next week, we have 4 days of dis­tri­b­u­tions to 4 oth­er areas of the Dis­trict. Lots of load­ing and unload­ing of food. Enjoy the pho­tos as the crowds were most­ly the wid­ows who raise the chil­dren since it is school test­ing time.

Wid­ow is tru­ly grate­ful for the food she received today. The har­vest was not kind to many in this area.
