DAILY LEARNING DEVELOPS STRONG MINDS
OUR 1ST GRADERS HEADED TO SCHOOL AT DAWN. BACKPACKS ARE AS BIG AS THEY ARE!
Going to school is a must for all our children.
Our preschoolers spend three hours a day preparing for 1st Grade. The teachers focus on teacing them Protuguese, their numbers, and the alphabet through song and at play time, which is the best way to keep these active little minds from wandering.

SECOND CORN BUYING BEGINS MONDAY
Our team unloaded 600 sacks (36 tons) of corn into our barn today. Monday, our team begins to prepare it for extended storage, as another 500+ sacks roll in from remote villages. July corn is drier and therefor stores longer than June corn. It costs a few pennies more per Kg (2.2 lbs), but it is the only corn that will hold its nutrition from January to May each year. July corn prevents malnutrition during the most critical “time of hunger” for the 1,500+ orphans we assist monthly. Keep us in prayer as our huge team will be moving at least 36 tons/day for the entire week. Total to be moved is 2,200 sacks (138 TONS).
