TWO NEW VILLAGES RECEIVE BAWANA GAMES! Carlitos Jorge and his band of merry men rode into 2 very remote, unreached villages this last Wednesday to set up their games for the first time. These villages are not huge, but they drew a good crowd as they taught the children how to play the games. Carlitos Jorge with some of the children learning about Jesus. The village called “7th of September” had 291 participants, and 394 flowed onto the soccer field in Regadio Village. The team was scheduled to also open a program in a 3rd “lake village”, but the only road was blocked by road building equipment. With a lake on one side and a huge hole on the other, it was not possible to go there even by motorbike. Roadworks that stopped our team en route to the lake village. I told the guys to not sweat it, for that road crew should be finished in the next 2 weeks, and then they can roar in with the Gospel. Our teams are hard at work taking the love of JESUS to the multitudes. Children gather to learn how to play a Bawana game. THANKS TO ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT, this expansion is possible. The BAWANA GAMES TEAMS are calling in the multitudes of all ages to hear the JESUS STORY, for our time is short and everyone deserves to know how much Jesus loves them before His return. ORPHAN HOUSE #6 BREAKS GROUND! We are calling it the “FLORIDA HOUSE” because 2 groups from FLORIDA, USA gifted it to the orphans of Balama. There are no trees on this land, so we are putting a roof between the 2 homes so that the children have a “cool breeze way” in which to play during the heat of the day. First rock going in on Orphan House #6. I will be sending photos as we build, but for now, we are hustling to put in the foundation, which is a MUST as the rainy season is not far away (Nov. 15th-ish). Dark clouds have already shaded several of our days, but we only received a sprinkle. The heavy rains could pour any time now. Sorry this is short, but I just drove in from a major supply trip to Pemba, leaving at 3 a.m. this morning. We ran out of baby bottles as we now have 30 babies needing our help to live. Their mothers either perished at birth, or the mother is so malnourished that she has no breast milk. So I bought out 2 stores to get 22 bottles for our reserve. Have a Blessed and Happy week!
